Cultivating, Harvesting, and Treating Alpaca Wool
Abstract
The Alpaca, a peruvian mammal, has long wolly hair that is widely believed
amongst textile experts to to be the lightest,
warmest, easiest to work with material for producing clothing. Although
working with raw alpaca wool produces a satisfactory product, here at
Foozle Industries Research Labs we have spent several
years perfecting the process of producing the ultimate alpaca wool.
This paper describes that process.
Summary
For the best Alpaca wool, we have developed the following process (to be
described in greater detail further in this paper):
- The alpacas must be hand nursed from birth.
- The alpacas are fed only hand-ground corn and barley, mixed with
sour cream.
- The alpacas must be read fairy tales twice daily.
